Getting ready to move into your freshman dorm room takes a lot of work. But it doesn't have to be stressful. To help you get started, we've prepared a list of the items we felt were absolute necessities in our freshman dorms.
The following list is broken up into 2 categories: those items you must absolutely have in your freshman dorm; and those items that come in handy, but aren't necessities. Keep in mind, you will want to tailor your freshman dorm to your own needs and habits. If you are going away to school, you will also want to make your dorm room feel as familiar and homey as possible.
